AGRA HOMEOPATH WARNS AGAINS EBOLA EPIDEMIC
Agra November 19
(IANS)
A well known homeopath of the city
Dr Kailash Chandra Saraswat today warned government that taking ebola lightly or
casually could prove dangerous in India.
Saraswat said cities like Agra and
Mathura which have huge populations of monkeys are most vulnerable as the
simians are the easiest carriers of Ebola virus.
"Government agencies have no
control over monkeys many of them are suffering from all kinds of diseases.
These monkeys are always in contact with human beings and their settlements
sustain them. It is high time the monkeys were closely watched and
screened."
Saraswat said the government
should enlist support of homeopaths because there were enough medicines in
homeopathy which could treat and prevent Ebola spread. "Certain medicines made
from grass are highly effective, as studies on monkeys have
shown."
The homeopath said the union
health ministry should immediately explore remedies in alternative therapies
like homeopathy or ayurveda. Says a well-known homeopathy resource
website, “There are homeopathic remedies that can be
taken with great effectiveness during an epidemic as a preventative. Once
the genus
epidemicus is discovered this
remedy can be taken by everyone. This method of taking remedies prophylactically
is considered highly effective when you are in the midst of an
epidemic.”
