DELHI COUPLE COMMITS SUICIDE IN KOSI

Kosi (Mathura district) October 15 (IANS)

 

A family from Delhi, husband, wife and an eight year old daughter threw themselves before a running train in Kosi. Police said the husband and wife identified as Sankalp and Nandini Anand, around 45 years died on the spot, the girl with serious injuries was taken to the hospital.

 

Kosi SO Arun Kumar told IANS "the girl is in serious condition. We are investigating and can not share the contents of the suicide note."

 

The couple staying in a nearby hotel country Inn, came to the railway track in their red car which was abandoned. Before bystanders could rush to pull them back, the tragic death had gripped the couple and critically injured the girl.

 

Police said the husband worked in a government department. They were from Rohini in New Delhi.  A suicide note was recovered from the abandoned vehicle. The details are yet to be shared by the police. Unconfirmed reports said the cause of the suicide was financial crisis.
