CHANDIGARH LIFTS THE CHIMMAN BHAI PATEL CUP, DEFEATING MP BY NINE WICKETS
Woman of the tournament award goes to Chandigarh's Sunaina

In the final of the week-long T-20 All India Women's Cricket Tournament Chandigarh today defeated Madhya Pradesh by nine wickets and lifted the Chamman Bhai Patel trophy.
 
MP batting first scored 102 runs. In reply Chandigarh scored 103 runs in 16.2 overs.
 
Sunaina of Chandigarh was declared woman of the match for scoring 53 not out.
 
Chandigarh girls after winning the trophy did the Bhangra dance and celebrated their victory in grand style.
 
Sunil Gavaskar's sister Nutan Gavaskar secretary of the Indian T-20 Women's Cricket Board was the chief guest at the final. She hoped such tournaments would be held more frequently to spot talent and give opportunities to young players to sharpen their prowess on the field.
 
MP's Tarmia got the best bowler award and Sonia got the best batsman award. Best fielder award went to Chandigarh's T Priyaka.
 
President of the All India T-20 Women's Cricket Board president Renu Jogi (wife of former CM of Chatisgarh Ajit Jogi, was also present.
