ALL SET FOR INDIA'S FIRST HIGH SPEED TRAIN

Decks are now clear for the
launch of India's first high speed train named Gatiman Express between New Delhi
and the Taj city.
An official statement from the DRM
office Thursday evening said the coaches from the Kapurthala coach factory had
arrived in New Delhi. Two successful trials July 3 and September 11 had already
been held.
The train no 12050 will leave New
Delhi at 8am and reach Agra Cantt railway station at 9.45am. It will return at
17.30 and reach New Delhi 19.15 in 105 minutes.
The coaches will have information
display with automatic sliding doors.
An official said it is now for the
railway ministry to decide the date for the inaugural
date.
